Season is up and running!
Whoa! What a start to the 2011 summer camp season. With awesome numbers of people coming along to our meetings nationally last night it’s easy to see why CCUSA is the leader of such a program in Australia and we don’t mind boasting about it. We really hope that our visitors gained the valuable information needed to start preparing for your 2011 adventure.
We understand that due to our postcards leaving the printers later than scheduled that some people did not receive them prior to the meeting. We have already added the confirmed September meetings to our web site so feel free to place the details in your calendar and come along. Click HERE for the CCUSA web site or HERE for the Blog calendar for information.
It looks like it’s going to be a great year with great numbers of participants. Why not make 2011 your year for travel and to meet new friends from all over the world? Simply go to www.ccusa.com and click on the apply button found at the top right of the page to start your application now.
Free Camp Information Meetings Today
Well it all starts again! The 2011 USA Summer Camp program kicks off nationally tonight. CCUSA is holding free information meetings for their summer camp in America program in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
CCUSA is Australia’s largest and most respected camping company. The only company in 2010 to have a 100% placement rate of its accepted participants, and 100% placement of 22 of it’s 24 year history.
CCUSA also offer many more programs. Once you’ve completed your time at summer camp in America, you could indulge in a ski season in Canada. Perhaps you could go onto pulling a few beers in a traditional London Pub.
So – Tonighs meeting is specifically for Summer Camp in America but for anyone also interested in the Canadian Summer Camps you are also welcome to attend. Come and chat to staff that have been there before, done it themselves. Every single staff member in Australia promoting this program has participated at a camp (or a couple) in America. Many of our staff have worked for multiple summers.
Check out the “Events” page for details or our Facebook page.
2011 USA Summer Camp – Apps open this week!
CCUSA is really excited as I’m sure many potential participants are, to announce that applications will be open a little later this week.
Why the delay? We need to confirm a couple of small changes this season with the camps we place staff at and also any possible changes for the visa. But the best part is the price! Prices at CCUSA are remaining the same as 2010. This is great news in these difficult financial times around the world.
Program Fees – Apply PRIOR to October 1st and your total CCUSA fee will be $445.00. This price includes 3 month work and travel insurance policy (can be extended for further international travel) at no extra cost.
The 2011 Pocket money allows you to earn up to $2240us for 9 weeks. You can also earn an additional $210.00 per week if you work longer that the 9 weeks. Remembering that your food and accommodation is all included, this is great money for a great time away!
Camp Counselor USA Job Fair – We’ll be doing these again for the 2011 season. We’ll be hosting up to 40 camps who’ll travel around the country to meet you face to face. This is a great opportunity to meet your future camp director and other staff. CCUSA have run the job fair for many years and are the most successful at doing so.
So are you as excited as we are? You can do one of two things;
- Contact your local CCUSA office and request we send you a paper application. Use this to start planning your application so when the online system opens later in the week you can start entering detail in knowing what’s going to be asked.
- Book-mark this site and check again later in the week, I’ll be posting another notice when they open.
It’s as easy as that! So don’t delay. Be more than just a tourist with CCUSA!
