2010 Summer Camp in America – Closing Soon!
The 2010 American Summer Camp program is rapidly coming to an end. The closing date for this season is March 1st, a full month earlier than previous years.
With the GFC hitting America hard, many more locals are applying for camp positions which means less jobs for internationals. This is why we are closing our program earlier. We want every possibility of placing all applicants we’ve accepted on our program.
So if you’re serious about applying for the 2010 season, you have very little time to do so. Applicants need to have completed their on-line application, sought out and received back three reference questionnaires and supplied CCUSA the required supporting documents. You then will have a face to face interview with a CCUSA area representative so your application can be finalized by the March 1st cut- off date.
Don’t delay. APPLY NOW so you have sufficient time to complete your application. Contact CCUSA urgently if you have any questions or need assistance. We want you to have the best summer of your life!
2010 Camp Fairs are over -Congratz to placed participants.
The Australian CCUSA Summer Camp job fairs are over for another year and what a great time we’ve had.
To everyone that secured a position at any one of the 5 fairs, congratulations. Be sure to keep on visiting your Footprints account and check out everything. Visa processing, contacting others going to your camp, travel hints, it’s all in there.
If you didn’t secure a position or declined to accept one, you’ll be contacted by CCUSA soon to follow up on what happens from here. If you’re already accepted on the program, we’ll now find you a perfect placement based on your application. If you’ve not been accepted or are yet to be interviewed fully, you’ll soon be hearing from us.
Here is a quick video from 3 participants from Perth who are really excited to be heading to camp in 2010.

Free Information Meetings
Just a quick reminder that next week CCUSA is holding Free Information meetings around Australia for our American Summer Camp Program.
Camp in America is a tradition that goes back for many years. CCUSA is Australia’s largest and most respected company of its type. With our Job Fairs just weeks away, come and find out what the program is all about. You’ll be able to chat to past participants and CCUSA staff.
We will be booking interviews for our national recruitment days at these events as well so if you decide it’s what you’d like to do, chat to our staff and book in for your interview. You will need to be prepared to complete the online portion of your application and pay the application fee prior to your interview.
Pre-interviewed participants gain priority entrance to the Camp Directors at our fairs. You have the choice of what camps you want to be interviewed by unlike other companies. Download our Job Fair Handbook to see what camps are coming and what positions they have on offer.
