The Camp Counselors USA 2010 Job Fairs are your best chance to meet, interview with and be hired by some of the USA’s most outstanding summer camps.

For the past 15 years, CCUSA has been bringing American Summer Camp Directors to Australia to interview and hire Camp Counselors on the spot. Thousands of Internationals have found the perfect camp job by attending a Job Fair and have gone on to have ‘The Best Summer of Their Lives’. In 2009 over 95% of people that attended the Job Fair walked away with a Job placement at Summer Camp.

Camps are hiring for many areas, including All Round/General Counselors and Activity Counselors (land sports, water sports, arts & crafts, performing arts, outdoor adventure, music, science and lots more areas).

CCUSA host the original Job Fairs in Australia, and with some 30 Camps being represented giving you the best opportunity to get a job on the spot.

On the day you can:

• Attend a free Information Session
• Talk to past participants
• Apply to the CCUSA program (although we highly recommend you apply before the day)
• Interview with an American Camp Director
• Walk away with a job for this American summer

To be eligible to interview with these American Camp Directors you must have fully completed the CCUSA online application form and paid the program fees.

So what is an American Summer Camp? This is probably one of the questions that many people ask themselves when they hear the words “American Camps” It seems that everyone knows someone who has done the program.

Summer camp is a century old tradition in America. Kids go to camp, many to the same camp their parents and grandparents went to because it’s what they’re used to doing. It’s as simple as that. Aussies have a BBQ for Christmas, Americans have their summer camps.

CCUSA look for suitable participants to be involved in our American Summer Camp program. We look for staff that have a great work ethic, love working with kids, want to have an adventure and travel the world to name a few. Do you think you have what it takes?
